Fundraising Campaigns
For the past 30 years, Royal University Hospital Foundation has raised funds for the benefit of Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, the primary trauma and treatment hospital serving the province of Saskatchewan. Since its inception in 1983, the Foundation has raised more than $100 million for RUH.
Three guiding pillars ~ research, education and patient care ~ are at the heart of everything we do. In keeping with RUH Foundation’s three pillars, funds raised are directed to support Foundation granting programs for research, education and patient care, while specifically raising awareness and financial support towards granting- recommended SHR identified priorities.
Focusing on research, education and patient care priorities will enable RUH to enhance its excellence and capabilities of surpassing the standard of care for the people of Saskatchewan.
Specifically, the areas to be supported will provide physicians, nurses, staff, patients, families and others: a wellness environment; the tools needed to provide effective treatments and care; enhanced learning and research capability; and greater opportunity recruiting and retaining skilled health care workers.
